Rai Sports Academy Triumphs at UP State Roller Skating Championships 2024
Rai Sports Academy students delivered an outstanding performance at the 10th Uttar Pradesh State Roller Skating Championships 2024, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Roller Sports Association. The event saw young athletes from across the state competing for top honors, and Rai Sports Academy’s skaters excelled in the Quads Skate category, securing multiple medals.
In the age group of 5-7 girls, Kamya Sharma clinched the Gold Medal, showcasing her remarkable talent and dedication. Moving up in age groups, Akshadha impressed with a Gold and Silver Medal finish in the 11-14 girls’ category, while Rakshit Rawat earned a Bronze Medal in the 7-9 boys’ category.
The academy’s achievements extended beyond medals, as Kamya Sharma and Akshadha have both earned selections for the prestigious 62nd RSFI National Championships. They will represent Uttar Pradesh in Mysore, Karnataka, from December 5 to December 14, 2024, in their quest for national glory.
Rai Sports Academy and their coaches expressed pride in the students’ performances, commending their dedication and hard work in the lead-up to the championships. A special mention goes to Head Coach Rustam Rai, whose expert training and guidance have been instrumental in the athletes’ success. His commitment to nurturing talent and preparing young skaters for such high-level competitions is reflected in their remarkable achievements.
